Born in Bucharest, Romania, he graduated from the Choreography High School in Bucharest. He became a principal dancer of the National Opera in Bucharest in 1983. His repertoire includes both lyric parts as well as composition parts, in both classical and neo - classical ballets such as:Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Don Quijote, Giselle, Carmen, La Fille mal gardée, The Taming of the Shrew, Carmina Burana, Tristan and Isolt, Anna Karenina, Notre Dame de Paris, Cinderella . He took part in var - ious tours, together with the ensemble of the National Opera in Bucharest, in Italy, France, Russia, the UK, Spain, Turkey, Germany, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium Bulgaria, Switzerland, Austria. His artistic performances have been awarded:The Performers, Choreographers and Critics Union Prize for " Best Performance " (1992)and Chevalier of the " Cultural Merit " Order awarded by the President of Romania (2004).
