Born in Bucharest, Romania, he graduated from the cello section of the Enescu High School. He took the lectures of the canto section at the National Music University in Bucharest. At the same time he performed in many vocal - symphonic concerts together with the Radio Orchestras, the " George Enescu " Philharmonic and other Romanian orchestras. Between 1985 - 1988 he participated in the summer lectures at Weimar (lied - oratorio with Lore Fischer), and in 1990 he became a member of the National Opera in Bucharest. In the 1991 - 1992 season he per - formed in Mozart 's Don Giovanni and Le Nozze di Figaro at Kammeroper Vienna, productions presented also in Japan, South Korea and China. In 2002 he became also a Principal Singer at the National " Ion Dacian " Operetta Theatre. His repertoire includes opera parts (Rossini, Mozart, Donizetti, Gounod, Verdi, Wagner, Puccini, Boito, Enescu)operetta (Strauss, Lehar, Abraham, Gilbert), as well as vocal - symphonic works by Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Berlioz, Dvorak, Gh. Dumitrescu, P. Constantinescu, Bentoiu. He participated in tours in Austria, The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Greece etc. , together with the National Opera in Bucharest.
