ALBERTO MASTROMARINO

Born in Italy, he studied canto with Paolo Silveri, then appeared on opera stages in Rome, Florence, Cagliari, Macerata, Verona, Bologna, Torino, Trieste, then Stuttgart, Deutsche Oper Berlin or Cairo, Buenos Aires, Palm Beach etc. His repertoire includes the great baritone roles of the Italian works - Lucia di Lammermoor, Rigoletto, Nabucco, Simon Boccanegra, Macbeth, Il Trovatore, Un ballo in maschera, Aida, La Traviata by Verdi, Madama Butterfly, Tosca by Puccini, Cavalleria rusticana by Mascagni, Pagliacci by Leoncavallo, Andrea Chénier by Giordano etc. In 1995 he made his debut at Staatsoper Vienna in the role of Alfio, then appeared in the role of Scarpia and Tonio, being also invited to perform in the following years.
