Born in Bucharest, Romania, she made her debut at the age of 16 as soloist with the Ploie sti Philharmonic. She graduated from the National Music University in Bucharest, piano class. She was awarded numerous prizes at national competitions (1979, 1980, 1982, 1986)among which the " Bianca " Award for the best lied accompaniment offered by the soprano Bianca Manoleanu at the Lied Competition " Ionel Perlea " in Slobozia. . As a soloist she had recitals and concerts together with philharmonic orchestras across the country as well as with Radio ensembles. She has also made recordings for radio and TV both in Romania and i n Cologne. She sustained recitals in Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, Austria, Japan and the US. She is professor with the National Music University, class lead by professor Ionel Voineag, and is also a member of the European Piano Teachers Association. (EPTA)
